Thai cuisine is designed to stimulate and excite the five tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and savory. Incorporating the culinary traditions of its Chinese forebears and Indian neighbours, its unique flavours depend on certain ingredients native to Southeast Asia. Fresh coriander leaf and root, lemon grass, the fresh leaf and peels of the Kaffir lime, Galanga (a cousin of ginger with a milder bouquet) and the hottest chilies in the world make Thai dining a unique experience. To ensure that our food tastes just right, we prepare it to suit your individual taste preferences.
To enjoy traditional Thai cooking at its finest you should push your taste buds to their limits. Since everyone has different limits, we offer the following spice options:
Level 1 - Mildly spiced with little to no sting (aka Natural Spice).
Level 2 - Add some “kick” to your lips and tongue.
Level 3 - Will get your tongue and lips tingling; the sensation lingers and invites a hearty glow across your face.
Level 4- The tingly glow is transformed to a raging fire, while the exotic flavours of Southeast Asia come through.
Level 5 - Can you handle it? This level is for addicts, masochists and Thai nationals. Order beer and tissues with these dishes. Management accepts no responsibility for side effects.
